End User Device Engineer
Join the End User Device Management Team supporting community and primary care users across Derby and Derbyshire. Ensure desktop and mobile devices remain secure, reliable, and fully optimised for clinical and operational staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Improve staff efficiency by resolving device and system issues quickly and effectively.
- Reduce service disruption through timely handling of incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
- Provide 24/7 support coverage as part of a rota that ensures continuous availability of end‑user services.
- Automate routine technical activities to increase operational efficiency.
- Proactively maintain device stability through regular patching, updates, and health checks.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of technical experience within an IT environment.
- Experience delivering technical documentation and presenting material accurately to colleagues.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time‑management skills.
- Experience working as part of a customer‑focused team.
- Working knowledge of MS Windows, Office, and internet/email applications.
- Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and data confidentiality.
- Knowledge of clinical and business functions across the local health community.
- MDM experience.
- Relevant degree or technical qualification, or equivalent experience.
- ECDL/MOST qualification or working towards it.
- Experience or knowledge of virtual desktops, scripting, packaging, RDMS, and other IT tools.
- Ability to work flexibly outside normal office hours and travel in order to attend meetings/deliver training.
- Clean driving licence and own car; part of an on‑call rota.
