Our Young Person Resilience Workers play an integral role within Change Grow Live, engaging young people in a range of interventions, using a young person-centred approach, and empowering our young service users to reduce risk, increase resilience and lead a safe, happy, and healthy lives.

Sessional Salary: £16.89 per hour

* Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Connect with young people experiencing substance use issues, offering them guidance, support, and structured interventions.
2. Provide advocacy and support for young people by actively participating in all relevant multi-agency meetings.
3. Collaborate with prescribing clinicians to enhance social functioning through support for substitute prescribing regimes, when necessary.
4. Stay attentive to and address potential safeguarding concerns promptly and effectively.
5. Cultivate a nurturing, comprehensive environment aimed at fostering positive health and well-being outcomes.

6. Experience in substance use intervention.
7. Experience of working with young people.
8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with strong IT proficiency
9. Proactive, autonomous, excellent time management, and priority setting abilities
10. Proficiency in mental health interventions and practices
11. A collaborative, supportive team player with robust interpersonal skills
12. Champion for change, putting the needs of service users at the forefront
