KEY ROLE
Key activities responsible for:
Product Development Support
* Assist the Product Specialist in researching, designing, and developing insurance products based on market demand, customer needs, and regulatory requirements in your product segment.
* Support the Product Specialist and Product Manager in defining product features, pricing strategies, and target customer segments.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, legal, actuarial, and compliance, to ensure products align with company policies and regulations.
Market and Competitor Analysis
* Conduct market research to understand customer behaviour, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
* Collect and analyse data on competitors' products, pricing, commission rates and positioning.
* Provide actionable insights to inform product development and positioning.
Data Analysis and Reporting
* Track and analyse product performance metrics, including sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and retention rates.
* Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
* Use data to identify opportunities for product enhancement or innovation.
* When relevant, gather feedback from the sales and customer service teams to inform future product development.
Flightdeck update and Customer & Sales Support
* Update product listings on FlightDeck on an ongoing basis.
* Work with the Technology Development Team to optimise the product listings on FlightDeck.
* Collate required documentation to ensure the effective product listing on FlightDeck
* When relevant, act as a liaison between the product team and sales department, helping to communicate product value propositions, updates, and positioning.
* Assist in creating product training materials and presentations for sales teams and customer service representatives if required.
* Keep content up to date (project management rather than generation).
Project Coordination
* Manage timelines and milestones for product-related projects, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on objectives.
* Coordinate product launch activities, including communication plans, marketing collateral, and customer-facing materials.
* Track and report project progress, highlighting potential risks or issues to the Product Manager.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
* Ensure all products and marketing materials adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards.
* Assist in maintaining up-to-date product documentation, including policy terms, conditions, and underwriting guidelines.
* Stay informed of any regulatory changes that may impact existing or new products.
* Ensure that each document has the appropriate reg or compliance sign off

* It’s important you understand the group, its history, its entities, services and permissions.
* We have to manage our resources carefully, so you should understand the cost of a decision you’re taking or requesting –spend the money like it’s your own.
* We want you to learn and develop your skills, so you need to be responsible for your own workload prioritisation, as well as the business plan for your unit and yourself.
* Customers are key – understanding of the way we interact with intermediaries, policy holders etc. must be remembered.
* If you don’t need to be in a meeting don’t go. They should be 30 minutes long, and actions should be recorded and followed up on.
* Make sure you map your processes and that they are written down so others can understand them. Always think about how to automate them.
* And finally, we want you to build your skills so where there are Stubben Edge Group training sessions, you are expected to attend.
Eligibility Criteria
* Have right to work in the UK.
* Have access to accommodation in or near London and be able to work from the London office 3 times a week
* Must have graduated and completed course.
* A-levels in numerate subjects.
* Must be able to start in 6 weeks.

Stubben Edge employees are entitled to 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) annually. Our contracted hours are 35 per week.
