Job Summary
Due to fantastic growth with Bill Plant Driving School, we are currently looking for an Account Manager / Key Account Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our head office in Ripon.
The ideal candidate would be an initiative-taking, organised individual who can manage franchise relationships strategically to ensure satisfaction and spot opportunities for mutual growth.
Role Responsibilities
* Relationship Management: Acting as the primary contact for Driving Instructors, you will need to be able to build meaningful relationships quickly and become the main point of support for Driving Instructors.
* Business Growth: Providing tailored support and guidance to Driving Instructors as they build and develop their own businesses.
* Training and Development: Support and guide new Driving Instructors through their journey to becoming fully qualified.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with all departments to deliver seamless service and resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.
* Administration: Maintaining accurate records on the CRM system, including updating notes, keeping accurate pricing records and ensuring that
* Driving Instructor documentation is kept up to date and compliant.
Ideal Candidate for the Role
* Prior experience in account management, previous experience in managing a portfolio of customers and developing relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
* Excellent communication skills are necessary for all aspects of the role, from building relationships to cross-functional collaboration.
* Strong commercial awareness, an understanding of business growth and how supporting a Driving Instructor will translate into revenue and operational success.
* Able to multitask across relationship management, business support, collaboration, and administration.
* Keen attention to detail is critical for maintaining accurate and complete records in the CRM system, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.
* Technical Skills: Confidence using Microsoft Software, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM systems.
