Assistant Head – Junior School Christ Church (Church of England) Federation Contract Type: Permanent full time Start Date: September 2026 Salary – L2-L6 (£53,068- £58,569) Due to internal promotion of key members of our Leadership Team the opportunity has been created for us to recruit a new Assistant Head Teacher to our Junior School. Governors are looking for someone who can: Support the Executive Head Teacher and Head of School in developing and pursuing a clear vision for the future, inspiring confidence and optimism. Deliver high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring excellent outcomes for all pupils, including SEND and disadvantaged groups. To lead the core curriculum area of Mathematics. Drive school improvement, using data and evidence-based strategies to raise attainment and progress. Model integrity and professionalism, acting as a role model for staff and pupils. Ensure safeguarding and inclusion, creating a safe, nurturing environment for all children. Work collaboratively with our Infant School and Nursery to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.
