Working with myself who suffers from chronic systematic arthritis and is wheelchair bound.
Duties to include helping me maintain a family home (ST5 Clayton), assisting with my parental role to my sen child, personal care, medication management, skin integrity, regular observations once trained etc.
36 hours per week, 9am-9pm
set rota
Week 1: Mon, Tues, Weds
Week 2: Thurs, Fri, Sat
Staff will sometimes be working on a 2:1 basis with other team members.
Full complex care training given in the role. Care experience is essential and a full clean driving licence to use my motability car to get to hospital appointments, days out occasionally etc. Must have a genuine passion to care and a good sense of humour helps. Experience with learning disabilities or autism is an advantage. We also are dog lovers and have 3 very affectionate dogs who will want to follow you around for fuss.
Fully contracted with a pension if eligible.
5.6 weeks per annum annual leave.
A full enhanced DBS will be provided if you don’t have one already on the update service.
Access to a blue light card.
£12.50 per hour.
