We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician with a passion for training and developing others to our highest standards. The role will support and line manage Trainee Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants with the support of the education and training team, ensuring staff are professionally developed to provide excellent pharmacy patient services.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
* Line manage and develop Trainee Technicians through NVQ Level 3 and Pharmacy Assistants through NVQ Level 2 training programmes with inclusion of the NVQ Assessment team.
* To line manage and support the Senior Technician and Pharmacy Assistant for Education and Training.
* To be a key contact for the Trust and network with the regional training and education Leads, attending regional sub-groups to assure continuous good practice for pharmacy staff.
* To be responsible for the professional development of technical staff and to facilitate the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of Pharmacy staff through wider learning initiatives.
* To manage and develop newly qualified Technicians and support staff in education and training initiatives.
* Lead on department wellbeing initiatives; to ensure we are supporting our colleagues professionally and their wellbeing.
