We are recruiting for: Locum Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists, ideally with an interest in cardiology procedures.
* Fixed‑term contracts, ideal for those seeking flexibility and the chance to work in a vibrant, supportive environment. Your role will involve:
* Providing perioperative TOE services.
* Providing evidence‑based care.
* Working clinically in cardiothoracic critical care.
* Working collaboratively with a variety of colleagues as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Covering on‑call across our cardiothoracic theatres, cardiac critical care and cardiology intervention services – so ideally you should live within 10 miles of Basildon Hospital, or 30 minutes travelling time.
* Developing your interests and specialisation within cardiothoracic anaesthesia, & Critical Care including active participation in research programmes.
