Care Assistant – Wyndwell Care Home
We are seeking talented and caring individuals to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. This role is for bank contracts at Wyndwell Care Home.
Our Care Assistants lead resident engagement by supporting and encouraging meaningful interactions, ensuring residents live with purpose and connection. They participate in person‑centred activities, outings, and events, promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.
The Care Assistant role ensures the highest quality, person‑centred care for all residents – supporting the delivery of each individual care plan. The role promotes independence and choice, ensuring residents’ voices are heard throughout all care elements. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care, promoting positive mealtime experiences to enhance nutrition and hydration, supporting meaningful activities, and creating one‑to‑one moments of connection.
Requirements
Essentially, the role upholds the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion. You should be an effective communicator and a strong team player within a multi‑disciplinary team. Having an SVQ2 qualification and previous experience in the care sector is beneficial, but not mandatory as full training is provided.
