The Role This fantastic opportunity in Blackpool for a Compliance Trainee, CASS Administrator providing administration support within the CASS Department, the ideal candidate will ensure the company complies with regulations related to the protection of client assets and company procedures. The Compliance Trainee, CASS Administrator will ensure all internal departmental controls are secure, accurately maintained, reconciled and correctly reported; adhoc project work as required, assisting in gathering information together for internal and external auditors. The Compliance Trainee, CASS Administrator will participate in CASS related projects, calculate internal daily client money calculation in line with UK regulations; carry out monthly internal CASS monitoring; produce monthly management information and reports from monitoring; carry out investigation work and produce reports of CASS incidents discovered. The Compliance Trainee, CASS Administrator will also investigate all funding requests and place funding in place when needed, maintain Company Resolution Pack, maintain Company CASS risk Matrix, perform any other job-related duties assigned by their manager. The Compliance Trainee, CASS Administrator be proactive in developing your knowledge of the industry and the market. Undertake and record relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to develop knowledge and skills Competencies. The Candidate 1 years financial services administration experience, this can be in any of the following areas - Compliance, Audit, Operations, Data Analysis or similar. An understanding of working in a regulatory environment. They would also consider a recent graduate with a degree in Economics and/or Finance who has an interest working in this area. Good organisational skills with Numerical ability and excellent attention to detail Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook Proficient with requisite internal systems
