About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established food manufacturing and distribution business with a strong presence across the UK. They are now looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to join their Food Service team, playing a pivotal role in growing and managing a portfolio of key accounts.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a real impact. You will be responsible for developing new business whilst nurturing and growing existing customer relationships within the food service sector.

Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business development within the food service sector
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
* Coordinate sales activity to maximise revenue with both new and existing customers
* Agree, review and maintain customer contracts to ensure compliance
* Monitor and action credit control in line with company policy
* Analyse sales figures and account data to provide meaningful commercial insight
* Monitor and deliver agreed budgets in collaboration with the Commercial Controller
* Continually review product margins and stay abreast of sector developments
* Liaise with customer service, technical and logistics teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel across the customer base
* Manage all account activity including pricing, logistics, complaints, samples and reporting
* Attend industry events, trade shows and other functions as required
About You
* Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels
* Highly organised, self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret xsngvjr and present data
* Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations
* Sound commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial approach to identifying new opportunities
* Ideally an understanding of the food service sector and knowledge of relevant product ranges
* A positive, energetic personality with real determination and passion
The Package
* Salary of £60,000
* Company car

* Remote working with regular monthly office days
