This role is ideal for someone who gets a kick out of helping people find their way through great design and has a strong interest in information design, typography, and spatial communication. Together, they deliver beautiful, intelligent design across wayfinding, placemaking, branded environments and film. Their projects span a wide range of sectors - including retail, hospitality, education, cultural, commercial and residential - and they’re known for creating people-focused, context-aware design that really stands the test of time. As they continue to grow, they’re looking for an experienced Wayfinding Designer to join them and get stuck into some exciting, large-scale projects. You’ll be: Designing wayfinding systems from concept through to detailed documentation and implementation Creating clear, strategic and visually compelling presentations and reports Participating in brainstorming sessions, research and design sprints Collaborating with the wider design team (including 3D designers) to ensure seamless delivery Visiting sites and factories as part of the implementation process Communicating ideas clearly - both internally and to clients Keeping on top of industry trends and bringing new ideas into the studio Managing your time effectively across multiple projects and deadlines You’ll have: 2-3 years experience in wayfinding, environmental or information design A strong understanding of wayfinding strategy and spatial design principles Excellent typographic and layout skills The ability to interpret plans and architectural drawings with confidence A collaborative, flexible approach and excellent communication skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (knowledge of SignAgent and Revit is a plus, but not essential) Experience designing for complex environments - from airports to retail centres to mixed-use developments Please attach CV and Portfolio/Link to website (for design roles) Applicants must be living in and have the right to work in the UK.
