Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Duties: The SEN Teaching Assistant will provide support to students with special educational needs in the classroom. Duties include assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans, helping students with learning activities, and providing emotional support and encouragement. Required Qualifications: - Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: - Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths - Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous - Experience working in an educational setting preferred Knowledge and Skills: - Understanding of special educational needs and different learning styles - Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs - Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures in education Preferred Qualifications: - Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - First Aid certification Working Conditions: - Work in a classroom setting under the direction of the class teacher - Full-time hours, temporary position - May involve working with students who have challenging behaviour All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
