Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant (Level 2/3)
Location: St Helens, Merseyside
Start Date: Easter start, potential for sooner start date if available
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Hourly Rate: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Aspire People is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2/3) at a thriving, inclusive primary school in St Helens. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a lasting impact while working in a dynamic and nurturing environment.
With a focus on children aged 4 to 11 years, including those in the school's dedicated SEND bases, you'll be integral in helping pupils achieve their full potential. Whether supporting in the classroom or providing tailored 1:1 and small group sessions, you'll bring your expertise and enthusiasm to create meaningful learning experiences.
What We're Looking For:
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). EYFS Qualifications are also suitable.
Previous experience working with primary-aged children, especially in a school or SEND setting (ideal, but not essential).
The ability to confidently support students both individually and in small groups.
Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
A true passion for children's learning and social development.
A commitment to safeguarding and ensuring the wellbeing of all students.
