Caron Scientific, a leading provider of advanced environmental testing and controlled environment equipment, is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our UK team.

As the Territory Account Manager at Caron Products, your responsibilities include developing and executing a strategic sales plan that drives sales of our full range of Cabinets and Fume Hood products including related services. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, be driven and dynamic with a hunter mentality, a fast learner with solid networking and communication skills, and capable of thinking strategically while executing programs tactically.
Responsibilities
* Penetrate key accounts in the life sciences research and clinical space, including CROs, Biotech, Pharma, Academia, and Industrial markets.
* Proactively manage new account acquisition, sales funnel, and maximize lead-to-opportunity conversion as well as opportunity-to-order conversion.
* Present and sell Caron’s lab products and solutions.
* Achieve or exceed sales revenue and unit targets.
* Manage sales funnel effectively (leads, opportunities, won/lost), maintain accurate sales forecasts, and utilize CRM tools efficiently.
* Explore market potential in new or diverse subject areas, ranging from simple standalone solutions to complex multi-instrument projects.
* Arrange and deliver seminars and product demonstrations both virtually and in-person.
* Attend and organize trade shows and set up booths.
* Conduct team calls and training sessions with customers.
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years of selling experience, including direct and multi-channel sales preferred.
* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
* Ability to travel up to 50%.
* Bachelor's degree in a science field, preferably within life sciences.
* Strong knowledge of the life sciences R&D, production, and clinical sectors is highly desired.
* Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales successfully.
* Technical knowledge and practical experience in solution selling.
* Experience selling into laboratory environments.
* Proven sales experience with capital equipment to biotech, pharma, academic, and clinical customers.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
* Energetic, charismatic, perseverant, and determined.
* Strong prospecting skills and a hunter mentality in competitive sales situations.
* Customer-focused with excellent listening skills.
* Good interpersonal skills to build relationships and contribute within a matrixed organization.
* Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
