Up to 85k basic + 85k OTE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a rapidly growing organisation in the cyber security services sector. This is a client-facing, consultative sales role focused on identifying, engaging, and winning new clients who are not currently using the company's services.
The role is ideal for a proactive and commercially savvy individual who thrives on building relationships, understanding complex client needs, and delivering tailored solutions that create long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients.
3. Proactively reach out to potential clients via cold calls, emails, and networking events to build a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
4. Arrange and lead both face-to-face and virtual client meetings.
5. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure, negotiating terms and contracts to optimise margins.
6. Establish and grow relationships with new clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and identify opportunities for cross-selling and account expansion.
Requirements
1. Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or solution-based selling, especially in cyber security services, with a history of exceeding targets.
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a consultative approach.
3. Proactive outreach skills, confident in cold calling.
4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, and collaborate with colleagues, potentially mentoring junior sales staff.
5. Strong time management and organisational skills, including experience with CRM tools.
6. Professional, confident, and capable of building rapport at all levels.
