Overview
Join us as our new Assistant Accommodation Manager, where you'll work closely with the Accommodation Manager to coordinate and support the team in delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across all accommodation types.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and training Accommodation team members.
* Helping to build and maintain a positive team culture focused on high standards.
* Supporting the Accommodation Manager with team structure, role delegation, and clarity of responsibilities.
* Providing day‑to‑day coaching, supporting 1‑to‑1s, and encouraging team development.
* Supporting initiatives that drive engagement, motivation, and team recognition.
* Assisting in the daily coordination of cleaning operations across all accommodation types.
* Carrying out regular spot checks and inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
* Monitoring daily performance and helping prepare action plans to support continuous improvement.
* Working closely with Maintenance and Guest Experience teams to support check‑ins, repairs, guest requests, and special requirements.
* Responding promptly and professionally to guest queries, helping resolve issues with minimal disruption.
Qualifications
* Previous experience managing teams.
* Ability and knowledge to coordinate complex daily business operations.
* Experience with forecasting labour and resource planning skills.
* A leadership style that inspires, supports, and brings out the best in diverse teams.
* Ability to access accommodation to perform checks and deliver hands‑on cleaning services, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
* Flexibility to work across varied days including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
* Confident using standard IT systems and applications.
* A full UK driving licence.
