Searchlight follows where Hanson Wades LEAP HR events lead, developing value-added year-round online communities in conjunction with the LEAP teams fastest growing events. Working with the MD, you will be responsible for delivering demonstrable value to Searchlight members by making connections with others facing similar challenges, sourcing and sharing insights related to the needs each member has and leading out new initiatives like industry benchmark reports and vendor match-making services. Key components of the role include: Value delivery Actioning ideas for meaningful member value delivery based on insights gained from account management conversations, Searchlight meetings and hub engagements Engaging with the event team to identify ways in which we can add value to the conference business and work closer together in the pursuit of our connected business goals Onsite planning, coordination, communication and delivery to ensure we are able to provide an elevated event experience for member companies taking part in meetings Community platform development Onboard members, promote regular engagement and develop the platforms VP in so that it becomes and remains a key component of the Searchlight VP that keeps people engaged Develop and manage an editorial calendar which ensures the daily/weekly addition of value-adding content and resources that provide a meaningful reason for members to log on Liaise with Zapnito to troubleshoot any problems that emerge in order to ensure we can fully leverage the platform as a driver of immediate member value and long term renewals Vendor matchmaking Capturing member objectives, and identifying up to 10 potential vendors who might be able to add value to that organization through both member research and desk research Contacting those target vendors to assess their suitability, interest in being recommended and assess their willingness to agree to a back-end deal if the link turns into a partnership Making connections between member and vendor to close the project off and following up with leads to check on what happened to them and the difference this made Meeting management Supporting the person developing the 30 online meetings per year to ensure they are set up to deliver demonstrable value, and providing a second pair of eyes to avoid blind spots Shadowing the delivery of those meetings (at least half of which require 2 people in them) to ensure the standards of execution match our expectations and those of the members Debriefing on those meetings to ensure we are capturing and learning lessons from them to apply to future deliveries to allow the quality of our meetings to improve About you To be successful, you will require: A high level of demonstrated organizational capability and 12 months of professional experience Commercially oriented with an eye for an opportunity and sets high standards for yourself Excellent communication skills and natural connector inside and outside of work A desire to work in a start-up, entrepreneurial environment and operate as a true all-rounder Attention to detail: please include the word rockstar in the subject line of your application A high degree of comfort in front of an audience of senior people facilitating strategic conversations About the package The successful candidate will receive: The opportunity to work in a profitable, dynamic, rapid-growth business environment World class training, superior career development options, and unlimited growth opportunities A supportive and sociable environment that loves to celebrate success among the team The ability to work flexibly in terms of when/where work gets done (with only a few exceptions) A basic salary in the region of £28,000-£32,000 (with an OTE of around £36,000-£40,000)
