Quality Systems Team Lead (12 Month Maternity Cover) Leprino is seeking to appoint a Quality Systems Team Lead for a fixed term Maternity Cover at our Magheralin site reporting to the Quality Manager. Hours of work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm You'll be at the core of our fast-paced and exciting operations, leading your team to achieve shift, daily and weekly production and quality goals. Act as a point for contact for quality systems guidance, training and support to QA and other departments, developing awareness and understanding of technical issues. Drive training and development of the QA team. Lead the drive to improve hygiene standards on site. Support HACCP Team Member and Internal Auditor. Provide trained QA Support during customer audits/traces. Support the quality manager & the Laboratory & Co-Products manager in customer, EHO and third party audits. Legal, Ethical & Customer Compliance and system requirements Continually review and develop the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with all customer and legal requirements, company objectives and key performance indicators. Establish and maintain an effective proactive internal auditing programme that meets customer expectations which will drive improvement in the site standards and assist in the preparation collation and issue documentation as required in preparation for customer audits. Implement, maintain and continuously improve the Document Control System, including the monitoring of technical documents review. Lead and manage the VACCP and TACCP teams on site to ensure both systems meet internal, BRC and customer requirements. Management of the customer complaint & quality incidents on site to ensure all are investigated, root cause identified and that the teams implement effective and sustainable corrective and preventative actions. Report any issues regarding food safety and quality immediately. Communication Convey information and ideas clearly, accurately and persuasively in both verbal and written formats (consider visual performance management). Liaise with customers & suppliers on food safety & quality Issues and visit where necessary to understand issues and build strong relationships. Prepare and present all required data for the Food Safety & Quality Reviews and site reviews as required. Act as a QA representative for continuous improvement projects, capex projects and business initiatives as required. Complete autonomy over trend analysis and reporting of customer complaints and quality incidents. Lead the drive to reduce the number of customer complaints and quality incidents in achieving the targets year on year and managing the complaint / incident investigation process by utilising the QA team. The successful candidate will have: 3rd Level Qualification in a food related discipline OR a minimum of 5 years experience as a QA within a FMCG environment Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft packages Ability to demonstrate implementing BRC and driving CI / lean initiatives Demonstrate implementation, review and development of quality management systems.
