Pure Staff Ltd are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator on behalf of our client within the engineering sector.
Established over 40 years ago and employing more than 50 skilled engineers, our client has extensive experience across the aerospace, nuclear, and technology sectors, supplying high-precision components to over 200 customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and forward‑thinking engineering business.
Your Role as a CNC Operator
1. Operating 5‑axis CNC machinery to file and cut metal components
2. Preparing and calibrating machines to produce high‑precision parts
3. Running machines independently throughout the shift
4. Producing components to exact tolerances and engineering specifications
5. Following engineering schematics and drawings with accuracy
6. Working within a high‑precision engineering environment
Requirements
7. ESSENTIAL – 5‑axis CNC operation experience
8. ESSENTIAL – Previous experience within an engineering environment
9. ESSENTIAL – Ability to run CNC machines independently
10. Strong understanding of tolerances and precision engineering standards
11. Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics
12. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability
13. Reliability and a positive attitude towards teamwork
Pay & Shifts
14. £18.00 per hour
15. Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
16. Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
17. 30‑minute unpaid break each day
