The Role As General Manager, you’ll be fully accountable for the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the development. You’ll be the face of the building — setting standards, shaping culture, and delivering an outstanding resident experience while driving strong commercial performance. You’ll lead on everything from leasing strategy and corporate partnerships to team leadership, financial performance, health & safety, and the overall look and feel of the property. What You’ll Be Doing Leading all on-site operations, including leasing, facilities, maintenance, and resident services Recruiting, developing, and inspiring a high-performing on-site team Creating a welcoming, safe, and community-led environment where residents feel at home Driving occupancy and revenue, with a strong focus on corporate lettings and local partnerships Managing budgets, forecasting performance, and ensuring financial targets are achieved Ensuring the building is immaculately presented at all times, inside and out Overseeing health, safety, and fire compliance, acting as the site’s Fire Warden Handling resident feedback and issues with professionalism, empathy, and confidence What We’re Looking For Proven experience in luxury property management, Build to Rent, hospitality, or a similar sector Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, service-driven approach Commercial awareness and financial confidence, including budgeting and reporting Knowledge of the Dartford market and corporate housing landscape Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills A keen eye for detail and pride in presentation and standards Familiarity with property management systems (Yardi experience is a bonus, not essential) A solid understanding of health, safety, and fire regulations Why This Role?
