We're looking for a passionate, hands-on Assistant Manager to help create the best shopping experience in our brand-new store in Interchange Retail Park, Bedford. Location: Interchange Retail Park, Bedford
Salary: £30,500 plus fantastic benefits
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 with Sundays on a rota basis
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, smashing targets, and keeping shrinkage to a minimum.
2. Leading and motivating your team, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer service.
3. Keeping the store looking amazing, fully stocked, and ready to delight shoppers.
4. Using reports and data to make smart commercial decisions.
5. Managing stock, staffing schedules, and store operations like a pro.
6. Stepping up to run the store in the Manager’s absence

What We’re Looking For:
16. At least 12 months of retail supervisory or management experience.
17. A people person with strong communication and leadership skills.
18. A commercially aware individual who can adapt and react quickly.
19. Someone tech-savvy—comfortable using Microsoft Office and Teams.
20. A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for toys and retail
