Braeside Medical Practice
GP Partner Vacancy 6-9 sessions
Due to retirement we are seeking a positive and motivated GP Partner to join our experienced and friendly team. The post is for 6-9 sessions (negotiable) and commencing in November 2025. However, we would be willing to wait for the right candidate.
We are a medium sized, semi-rural Practice located in Galashiels Health Centre in the Scottish Borders. We are within easy commuting distance of Edinburgh having the Borders Railway on our doorstep. Other NHS services provided within the Health Centre include; Treatment Room, District Nursing Team, Midwifery, Health Visiting, Physiotherapy, Sexual Health, Podiatry and Dental.
The local District General Hospital is only 3 miles away and all consultants are approachable responding to individual and departmental emails. We have open access x-ray, US, CT, MRI scans and physiological studies. There is an excellent Out of Hours Service.
Our current clinical systems are EMIS PCS, Docman and GP Order Comms.
The practice comprises of two established GP partners, two salaried GPs, two ANP’s and one Practice Nurse.
