**Economic Crime Programme (data) (2 years) **
We help the group to prevent financial crime for our customers! The role will be accountable for supporting the Economic Crime Strategy, Systems & Analytics Team, with an opportunity to develop understanding of the Group’s fraud and anti-money laundering controls across the wider Financial Crime operational teams. This is a great opportunity to develop regulatory and compliance understanding whilst working in a fast-paced team You will have the opportunity to complete fraud investigations, be responsible for the collation of key management information, and work with business stakeholders, third parties, and service providers to assess existing Group systems and processes for potential vulnerabilities/improvements. You will be encouraged to monitor industry intelligence to gain knowledge and experience of common financial crime controls and fraudsters’ tactics which will give you the opportunity to create threat intelligence reports on incidents in the industry which will be shared with the relevant audiences.
You’ll get first-hand experience from several teams on your placements, which could include working on:
1. Systems & Analytics – manage performance of fraud and AML systems
2. Risk & Governance –
3. Change & Projects – change initiatives, delivering roadmap
4. Threat – responding to fraud attacks and thinking creatively on how to mitigate and respond to these using systems/process/people

7. Starting Salary and Band: £29,500
8. Location: Manchester/ Hybrid- you will also need to travel to Coventry when required.

Your placements
Placements will vary depending on business needs at the time as well as being tailored to your areas of interest. Each placement is designed to develop your commercial and strategic thinking, negotiation and influencing skills and understanding of how our Bank works. Our two and three year Graduate schemes provide a structured development programme. You’ll develop key leadership skills and competencies and gain knowledge and experience through a series of placements across your chosen business area.

We’ll also assign you a senior leader mentor and work with you on a personal development plan to draw together technical training and personal and professional learning to help you grow your skills and gain a relevant apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements:
10. On course for, or have achieved a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline or a 2:2 degree with a Masters (Finance/ Analytics/ Mathematics preferred but not essential)
