Sendsory Address: Crane Court, 302 London Road, Ipswich Suffolk IP2 0AJ Salary: £18,327.74 per annum (Actual salary), Grade 4 point 10 Hours: 25 hours per week, 9.30 am - 2.30 pm, Term time only Contract: Fixed term for 12 months, Starting in September 2026 Reference: 0717 As Marketing and Content Assistant at Sendsory, you will support the promotion and growth of the provision by capturing, creating and sharing content that reflects our values, impact and day-to-day life. You will play a key role in showcasing our Therapeutic Curriculum and the experiences of our pupils in a way that is engaging, sensitive and authentic, working closely with the leadership team to communicate the work of the provision to families, professionals and the wider community. In this role, you will: Content creation and storytelling Create, manage and schedule engaging content across social media platforms. Capture photos, videos and written content that reflect the life and ethos of the provision. Identify and share key stories, pupil achievements and everyday moments in a sensitive and appropriate way. Ensure all content reflects the values and inclusive ethos of Sendsory. Work collaboratively with the Creative Designer to develop high-quality visual and digital content. Digital presence and marketing Assist in the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and promotional materials. Work alongside the Creative Designer to support the creation of branded materials and campaigns. Support the promotion of events, initiatives and partnerships. Maintain brand consistency across all communications. Communication and engagement Work closely with the leadership team to communicate key messages and updates. Monitor engagement across platforms and contribute ideas to improve reach and impact. Track and review basic analytics across social media and digital platforms to understand performance and inform content decisions. Assist with internal communications and newsletters. Build positive relationships with staff to support authentic content capture. Safeguarding and compliance Ensure all content aligns with safeguarding, data protection and consent procedures. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when capturing and sharing content. What you will need Experience in marketing, communications or social media management. Strong written and visual communication skills. Confidence in creating digital content, including photography and video. Ability to tell stories in a compelling and appropriate way. Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality within an educational setting. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Creative thinking and attention to detail. Confidence using social media platforms and scheduling tools. Basic understanding of social media analytics and ability to use insights to improve content performance. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. A proactive approach and willingness to contribute ideas. Experience working in education or with SEND is desirable but not essential. About us Sendsory is a specialist Alternative Provision supporting children aged 4–11 with SEND. Our Therapeutic Curriculum helps children regulate their emotions, develop communication and social skills and build confidence in a nurturing environment. We support children who are awaiting school placement, at risk of or who have experienced permanent exclusion and those who are disengaging from mainstream education.
