Interim Group Financial Controller Ashbourne, Derbyshire | Office Based (with some flexibility)£80,000 Pro Rata | 36 Month ContractAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Controller to join a rapidly growing manufacturing business at a pivotal stage in its journey. With ambitious growth plans and a target to double in size over the next few years, the business is seeking a commercially minded finance leader to help strengthen financial control, reporting, and operational performance.This is a senior interim appointment with the potential to become permanent for the right individual.Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you will lead the finance function, oversee financial reporting and controls, and provide robust financial insight to support strategic decision-making across the group.Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the finance teamOversee month-end, year-end, and group reporting processesEnsure strong financial controls and compliance across the businessManage cash flow, balance sheet integrity, and financial riskLead the annual audit process and manage external auditor relationshipsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planningDrive improvements across finance systems, processes, and reportingPartner with senior stakeholders to support commercial decision-makingCandidate Profile Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience operating at Financial Controller level within a manufacturing environmentStrong technical accounting and financial reporting expertiseHands-on leadership style with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentCommercially aware with excellent stakeholder management skillsAvailable to start at short notice or immediately preferredThis is an excellent opportunity to join a high-growth business in a visible and influential role with genuine long-term potential.TPBN1_UKTJ
