Position:
Health and Social Care Assessor
We seek experienced and qualified health & social care assessors to join our team. If you are passionate about elevating standards in the health & social care sector through education and experienced in delivering apprenticeships and diplomas, read on.
The Role
As a Personal Development Manager (assessor), you will manage a caseload of learners, ensuring they achieve their health and social care qualifications at Level 2/3 or Levels 4/5, depending on your occupational competence.
You will conduct regular visits (remote and face-to-face) to support, motivate, and encourage learners to meet their qualification deadlines, managing your own schedule to meet KPIs.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Engaging with learners and employers monthly to secure commitment
* Delivering effective teaching and learning aligned with curriculum standards
* Ensuring timely submission and assessment of learner evidence
* Observing learner practice in the workplace
* Supporting learners with maths and English Functional Skills
* Assisting learners to pass End Point Assessments
* Promoting learner health and wellbeing
* Reporting safeguarding concerns
Requirements
* At least 2 years of vocational experience in adult/elderly health & social care, including Dementia and Learning Disabilities at a Senior Carer level or higher
* Health and social care qualification at Level 3 or 5
* Experience in work-based learning and holding an Assessor qualification
* Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (preferred)
* Good English and maths skills (GCSE C or above)
* Experience working in high-demand environments with targets and deadlines
* Autonomous working skills, excellent time management, organization, and planning
* Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
* Proficiency in IT and Microsoft packages

Salary
* Level 5 - £30,000
* Level 3 - £27,000
