The Commercial Assistant role is a key position within the Commercial Low Speed division of Chevron Traffic Management. It is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing of all work within the region, meeting client invoice dates, and managing the commercial aspects of contracts, including cost and revenue accuracy. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager - Low Speed North, the role supports the Low-Speed business in northern England as part of a small Commercial team, working alongside Depots & Operations Managers and other team members.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Contracts invoicing and data management in the company's TM Work system.
2. Leading the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
3. Coordinating with project and planning teams to ensure proper job setup for invoicing.
4. Responding to client inquiries and participating in regional review meetings.
5. Collaborating with the Finance team to resolve post-invoicing queries.
6. Supporting process improvements and system enhancements.
7. Assisting with cash management, debt aging, and payment escalations.
8. Preparing and submitting applications for payment, including collecting evidence as needed.
Qualifications and skills required include:

* Self-motivation, organization, resilience, and flexibility.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable qualifications include knowledge of Traffic Management, experience in a similar commercial administration role, and quantity surveying experience.
