Implementation Consultant (Procurement Software)

Remote, UK

£45,000 – £55,000

Company Overview

Our client is an established UK-based SaaS provider delivering a cloud platform designed to help organisations gain greater control and visibility over operational and commercial processes.

The business supports finance and operational teams in replacing manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows with a structured system that improves governance, transparency, and efficiency across supplier and spend-related activities.

With a stable customer base and a steady flow of new projects, they are looking to appoint an Implementation Consultant to support customer onboarding and delivery.

Role Overview

The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of new customer implementations from initial discovery through to go-live.

This role sits within the Professional Services function and will act as the primary contact for customers during implementation. The successful candidate will gather requirements, configure the platform, support data migration activities, and ensure users are trained and prepared for adoption.

The position would suit someone with experience implementing SaaS solutions into finance, procurement, or operational environments who enjoys structured delivery work and direct customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead implementation projects from kick-off to go-live
* Facilitate discovery sessions to understand client processes and requirements
* Translate requirements into system configuration and workflows
* Support data migration activities, including mapping and validation
* Coordinate with technical teams where integrations are required
* Deliver system training to end users and administrators
* Manage project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communication
* Identify risks and ensure projects remain on track
* Support handover to Customer Success following go-live

Required Skills & Experience

* 2+ years' experience in SaaS implementation, systems consulting, or application support
* Experience working with finance, spend management, ERP, or operational software platforms
* Strong understanding of process mapping and workflow configuration
* Comfortable running workshops with finance or operational stakeholders
* Experience supporting data migration and/or integrations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Comfortable working remotely within a structured delivery environment

Desirable

* Exposure to purchase-to-pay, supplier governance, or financial operations processes
* Experience working within a B2B SaaS vendor environment
* Familiarity with mid-market organisations
