Leasing/Lettings Negotiator - Build to Rent

Birmingham

£30,000 + discretionary bonus

We are working with a leading property business to appoint a Leasing/Lettings Negotiator for one of Birmingham’s most high-profile residential build to rent developments. This opportunity sits within the tallest residential building in the city, offering the chance to join a collaborative team during a key lease-up phase. This is a 15 month Fixed Term role

The organisation:

• We are partnering with a respected property management business delivering a flagship build-to-rent scheme in central Birmingham.

• The development is the tallest residential building in the city, offering a high-quality living environment.

• You will join a well-established team with a strong team culture and focus on service.

• The business offers a professional environment with exposure to a large-scale scheme.

The role / responsibilities:

• We are seeking a Leasing Negotiator to support the lease-up of a new residential tower.

• You will take a lead on viewings, tours, and applicant engagement.

• You will manage enquiries from initial contact through to move-in.

• You will negotiate rental offers and support applicant vetting processes.

• You will coordinate marketing activity and maintain listing accuracy.

• You will ensure systems are updated with lettings data and viewing feedback.

• You will liaise with third-party agents and build external relationships.

• You will support rental analysis and provide insight on local market performance.

• You will assist with renewals and ongoing resident communication.

• You will work closely with the wider team to ensure apartments are presented to a high standard.

• You will contribute to creating a positive resident community.

Skills needed / requirements:

• You will have working knowledge of a leasing or lettings environment.

• You will demonstrate a track record of working towards targets.

• You will have strong communication skills and confidence with customers.

• You will have good IT literacy, including CRM systems.

• You will demonstrate attention to detail and organisation.

• You will be comfortable working in a busy environment.

• You will have effective time management skills.

• You will take a proactive approach and work well within a team.

Additional information:

• 15-month fixed-term contract.

• Full-time role, working 5 days out of 7.

• Based on-site in central Birmingham.
