Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing sandwiches and salads, maintaining food safety standards, keeping the kitchen area cleaned and helping front of house staff where necessary.
Duties
* Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
* Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
* Support catering events as needed, assisting with setup, service, and cleanup.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is highly desirable.
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
* Experience in catering is an advantage but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£19.26 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 22 per week
