About the Role We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Seasonal Irrigation Tractor Driver to support irrigation operations during the peak growing season (from April to September /Oktober). The role involves operating tractors and associated irrigation equipment across farm sites to ensure effective and timely crop irrigation. This position is ideal for someone with agricultural machinery experience who is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and can adapt to seasonal workloads. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Operate agricultural tractors to tow, position, and relocate irrigation equipment including booms, hose reels, pumps, and pipework. • Assist with the setup, adjustment, and relocation of irrigation systems in fields. • Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance on tractors and irrigation equipment. • Monitor irrigation operations and report faults, leaks, or safety concerns. • Work safely on farm tracks, fields, slopes, near watercourses, and when crossing public roads where required. • Follow all health & safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work. • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members. • Maintain clean and safe work areas. ________________________________________ Skills & Experience Required • Proven experience operating agricultural tractors (essential). • Previous irrigation or agricultural field work experience (desirable). • Good understanding of health & safety in an agricultural environment. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Basic mechanical awareness. ________________________________________ Qualifications & Licences • Full UK driving licence (essential). • Tractor driving competence (essential). • Additional machinery certificates (advantageous but not essential). ________________________________________ Personal Attributes • Reliable, punctual, and flexible. • Safety-focused with a responsible attitude. • Practical and hands-on approach to work. • Willingness to work variable hours to meet operational needs. ________________________________________ What We Offer • Competitive seasonal pay. • Opportunity to work with modern irrigation and agricultural equipment. • Supportive working environment. • Overtime available during peak periods • Free parking on site • Training and Development to support you ________________________________________ How to Apply Please apply with a brief CV outlining your relevant experience.
