Mid-Weight Interior Architect/Designer Location: Bloomsbury, London (4 days per week in studio) Hours: 9am - 6pm AGC is home to a dynamic portfolio of international, award-winning brands delivering world-class interior design services to a global clientele. We are currently seeking a strong Junior or Mid-Weight Interior Architect/Designer to join our talented Design team. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior designers and collaborate across our brands and departments. Reporting to your Line Manager, you’ll be mentored and supported in your development while contributing to exceptional design work. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Assist senior designers in preparing concept design presentations based on project briefs. Support in preparing sample boards and design development presentations, including technical details. Assist with producing and coordinating detailed Interior Architectural Design Packages and specification schedules. Source and order materials and samples for relevant projects. Provide administrative support on projects including programme planning and progress updates. Produce high-level InDesign presentations with Photoshop and other relevant tools. Support the team with detailed drawings, tender packages, and technical documentation. Liaise with contractors and attend site meetings as required. Continuously develop your technical knowledge and design skills. Participate in CPD sessions and training workshops. Maintain and organise the sample library and design resources. Ensure design documentation is kept up to date and well organised. Support the Design team with general day-to-day tasks. Adhere to company policies and uphold our Best in Class standards. Additional Responsibilities (but not limited to): Attend weekly brand meetings. Maintain and develop the sample library area. Organise training workshops and supplier visits for the team. Ensure all AGC design documents are up to date and correctly filed. Provide general support to the Design team. Requirements: A relevant degree or diploma in interior design or architecture. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional design studio. Enthusiastic and eager to learn, with a passion for delivering first-class design. Able to work efficiently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities. Comfortable working both independently and within a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop). Basic understanding of RIBA stages and UK planning regulations (with a desire to learn more). 3D design skills are a bonus, but not required. Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills. Fluent in English with strong communication skills (verbal, written, visual). Availability to work in our London studio 4 days a week.
