Pleckgate High School seeks to appoint a Business Studies Teacher to join the school from September 2026. We would welcome full‑time and part‑time applications.
Responsibilities
* Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils and support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
* Monitor and support the overall progress and development of pupils as a teacher/form tutor.
* Facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
* Contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment.
* Share and support the Academy's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status.
* Qualified to at least degree level.
* Experience of teaching Business Studies at KS4.
* Able to teach Technology or Computer Science at KS3.
* Ability to deliver consistently high‑quality lessons to pupils of all ages and abilities.
