About The Role
Are you ready to take the lead in a vibrant kitchen environment? We’re on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to join our Restaurant & Quick Serve department in Bognor Regis, overseeing our bustling Papa John’s 200-seater restaurant.
In this exciting role, you’ll report to the Senior Kitchen Manager and play a pivotal part in running the kitchen while leading a dynamic team of up to 10 members per shift. At the heart of our values is making our guests smile, and you’ll ensure this happens consistently by keeping guests at the center of all operational decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team for exceptional service.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Managing food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adherence to cooking standards.
* Ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations.
Typical working hours: This role is based on 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days with a variety of shifts between 7am and 3am, depending on the restaurant’s opening hours.

* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.

* Experience managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene compliance.
