We’re looking for a sharp, strategic brand thinker to help shape how our client shows up in the world — and why it matters. This is a rare opportunity to own the brand health agenda and co-author the guidelines that define one of the world’s most trusted financial brands, working across global teams, regions and agency partners.
The Team
The Brand & Creative team defines, expresses and protects our client’s global brand. They’re the guardians of clarity, consistency and commercial effectiveness — working across regions, audiences and channels to make sure our client always puts its best foot forward.
The Role
You’ll be the connective tissue between brand strategy and business outcomes. Working closely with their Global Design Lead, you’ll co-own the brand guidelines — making sure the verbal and visual identity work as a unified, high-performing system. You’ll lead the global brand health and insight programme, turning data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders. And you’ll ensure that our client’s brand experience is coherent across every digital property and market.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to tidy up the edges. You’ll be shaping how an enterprise brand comes to life in ways that genuinely move the commercial dial.
What You’ll Do
* Co-own brand guidelines with the Global Design Lead, ensuring verbal and visual components form a coherent, high-performing brand system.
* Lead brand health measurement and insight — translating tracking data and market research into clear recommendations that reach the boardroom.
* Ensure brand expression across corporate websites and key digital properties is consistent and commercially aligned.
* Partner with regional brand leads to support market activation that respects enterprise guardrails while addressing local realities.
* Strengthen the employer brand by ensuring enterprise clarity supports the ability to attract and retain exceptional people.
* Be the go-to expert for complex brand questions, providing clear direction to teams across the business.
* Lead agency partnerships, holding partners to a high bar for strategic thinking and creative quality.
* Create practical guidance, toolkits and playbooks that help marketing, digital and regional teams apply the brand with confidence.
* Bring the enterprise brand strategy to life — codifying it in ways that drive coherence and tangible business impact.
You’ll bring:
* Proven brand strategy experience, with deep knowledge of brand architecture, messaging and narrative development.
* An analytical mindset — you’re comfortable with brand tracking and market data, and you know how to link insight to commercial levers.
* Exceptional written communication and copy judgement; you know a clunky sentence when you see one.
* The ability to influence senior stakeholders and bring cross-functional teams along with you.
* Experience navigating complex global organisations with varied regional cultures and expectations.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams without dropping the ball.
* A collaborative, pragmatic approach to governance — enabling progress rather than creating roadblocks.
* Experience managing agencies and getting the best out of creative and strategic partnerships.
