The Business Development Manager – Bridging Finance Role

Reporting directly to the MD of Bridging, you’ll lead new business generation across the Manchester and Liverpool regions. Your focus will be on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and originating high-quality bridging loans. You’ll be a key figure in expanding the company’s footprint across the North, representing the brand to brokers, introducers, and property professionals.

Business Development Manager – Bridging Finance Key Responsibilities

* Drive new bridging finance opportunities by building relationships with brokers, IFAs, accountants, solicitors, and property professionals.
* Act as the go-to contact for your introducers and ensure a seamless lending experience from enquiry to completion.
* Promote the full suite of lending solutions and position the business as the lender of choice for complex and time-sensitive cases.
* Maintain a robust pipeline and meet or exceed your £50M annual origination target.
* Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape sales strategies that reflect market demands.
* Maintain accurate activity records and deal progress through the company’s CRM.
* Attend monthly sales meetings at head office.

What You’ll Bring

* Proven experience in a business development role within bridging finance or specialist property lending.
* A strong network across the Northern property finance market, particularly in Manchester, Liverpool, and surrounding areas.
* Solid understanding of bridging finance products and competitor offerings.
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
* A results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently to ambitious targets.
* Confidence in pitching, structuring deals, and navigating complex funding scenarios.
* A proactive, resilient, and professional approach.
