Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable Digital Solutions IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT support and technical troubleshooting. As a Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving technical issues, creating bespoke websites, and providing support for various operating systems.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
* Troubleshoot and resolve computer networking issues.
* Assist customers with help desk inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective solutions to their problems.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance desktop support services and improve overall customer satisfaction.
* Document all interactions and resolutions in accordance with company policies.
* Design, build, and maintain responsive websites tailored to client needs.
* Customise and manage CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) to deliver bespoke website solutions.
* Ensure websites follow best practices for accessibility, usability, and SEO optimisation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical requirements into functional, user-friendly web designs.
* Perform regular updates, security patches, and troubleshooting for web applications.
Qualifications
* Experience in technical support or IT support roles, with a strong understanding of computer networking principles.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
* Familiarity with help desk operations and customer service best practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users.
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
