Job Title: Occupational Health Screening Nurse
Location: Manchester, M3 3HN (travel required)
Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday

Role Summary
We are looking for an Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join the Optima team. The role involves a mix of immunisations, health surveillance, and venepuncture, with opportunities for additional training, qualifications, and leadership responsibilities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Deliver occupational health services and clinics for our clients, focusing on immunisations and vaccinations.
* Advise clients on current immunisation services and recommendations for improvement.
* Conduct immunisation health assessments and surveillance related to potential health risks at work.
* Promote employee health and wellbeing across clients and the wider business.
* Provide health education on relevant issues, encouraging healthy lifestyles.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, sharing knowledge and challenging peers.
* Maintain registration and continuous professional development, meeting NMC standards.
Experience, Skills and Knowledge Required
* Registered General Nurse with current NMC Registration.
* Experience delivering venepuncture and immunisations.
* Desirable: Experience with Spirometry, Audiometry and Drivers Medicals (training provided).
