About the role
:
As a Primary Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with the work set. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or anyone with strong classroom experience looking for the next step.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver pre-prepared lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
2. Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
3. Support pupils with their learning and maintain high expectations
4. Follow school policies and work collaboratively with staff
What we’re looking for:
5. Experience working with children in a primary school setting
6. Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
7. Adaptable, reliable, and able to engage quickly with new groups of pupils
8. A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
