The Role\nOur client, an award-winning, fast-growing food manufacturer based in central Nottingham, is seeking an experienced Hygiene Line Leader to take responsibility for hygiene operations across their production facility on the afternoon shift. (Benefits)\n * £14.20 per hour (£29,500 per annum)\n * 16pm – Midnight Monday – Friday\n * Modern, clean facilities within inclusive and supportive environment\n * Progression within a growing business\n * Perks, Pension, PPE and lots more\n * Immediate start for successful applicant\nJob Description:\n * The successful Hygiene Line Leader will;\n * Manage and lead hygiene activities across the Prep, Kitchen, and Production Lines\n * Supervise and support a team of Hygiene Operatives, including training, scheduling and performance monitoring\n * Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, COSHH, health & safety, and GMP standards\n * Complete hygiene documentation and carry out inspections/audits to maintain audit readiness\n * Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Technical, and Quality teams to support smooth operations\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Lead daily hygiene activities in line with production schedules\n * Monitor and maintain cleaning materials, PPE and hygiene equipment\n * Conduct routine safety walks and hygiene inspections\n * Ensure cleaning schedules, procedures, and records are maintained accurately\n * Train team members to required standards (SOPs, CCPs, safety protocols)\n * Report and escalate hygiene, safety or maintenance concerns\n * Participate in audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations\n * Support cross-functional collaboration and shift handovers\nSkills and Experience:\n * Must have experience in hygiene/cleaning roles within a food production setting\n * Team leadership or supervisory experience\n * Knowledge of hygiene protocols, COSHH regulations, and food safety standards\n * Ideally Lv2 or 3 Food Hygiene certificate and familiar with allergen controls\n * Ability to manage schedules, tasks, and compliance documentation (experience of BRC ideal but not essential)\n * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve hygiene-related issues\n * Good communication skills and cross-functional teamwork\nHow to Apply\nIf you have the relevant hygiene experience and leadership skills, and you’re looking to join a business with strong values and a great working environment, we’d love to hear from you.\nPlease click apply or send your CV.
