We are looking for a Locum Doctor (General Practitioner) with MoD Experience to cover an assignment at Catterick Occupational Health, Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire. This 22.5 hour per week role requires delivering an exceptional standard of care to MoD service personnel.
Pay Rates
* PAYE – £60.10 per hour
* Self‑employed – £69.12 per hour
Job Responsibilities
* Deliver Primary Healthcare (PHC) clinics for military and entitled personnel.
* Conduct examinations and Occupational Health (OH) fitness‑for‑work assessments within the scope of the locum doctor’s experience and qualifications.
* Inform the local medical authority of any case that may affect a serviceperson’s ability to undertake duties.
* Complete reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or the requirements of any other government department.
* Attend individual management reviews or case conferences with Primary Healthcare (PHC) and/or line management as required.
Essential Requirements / Qualifications / Experience
* Registration with the General Medical Council on the main register and on the GMC GP Register without restrictions.
* Current, satisfactory annual appraisal in line with the General Medical Council’s Good Medical Practice.
* In‑date certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training.
* Previous Ministry of Defence (MOD) experience.
* Registered on the UK NHS Performers List and provision of an NHS Performer number.
