Job Description Housing Disrepair Litigation Fee Earner Remote/Hybrid – Only 2 days per month in Newcastle (all expenses paid) Up to £34,000 Performance Bonus (8% on cases exceeding standard workload) The Role We are seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Litigation Fee Earner to join our growing legal team. This role is focused exclusively on litigated cases, managing claims from cradle to grave. You will work remotely, with just two office days per month in Newcastle, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered. Key Responsibilities Manage a full caseload of litigated Housing Disrepair claims, from case inception to trial or settlement. Issue proceedings and handle all aspects of litigation through to conclusion. Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and witness statements. Prepare Part 36 offers, Directions Questionnaires, and Court Bundles. Represent clients in court proceedings and liaise with counsel when required. Conduct negotiations and settlement discussions with defendants and third parties. Ensure strict compliance with court deadlines, CPR, SRA, and GDPR regulations. About You ✔ Experience handling litigated Housing Disrepair claims. ✔ Strong case management, advocacy, and negotiation skills. ✔ Ability to work independently in a remote environment. ✔ Excellent written & verbal communication skills. ✔ Familiarity with Proclaim or similar case management systems (preferred). ✔ A proactive and client-focused approach.
