We’re partnering with a global life sciences organisation developing innovative biopharmaceuticals and vaccines for animal health who are looking for an Analytical Development Scientist to join their team in Liverpool, Speke
This is a hands-on lab role within a collaborative Technical Development team, focused on analytical method development for microbial and cell culture projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and optimise analytical methods (HPLC, ELISA, UV, CE-SDS)
* Plan, execute, and interpret lab studies
* Support method validation and tech transfer activities
* Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
About You
* Degree (or higher) in a relevant scientific discipline
* ~2+ years’ experience in analytical development (or PhD)
* Strong knowledge of protein chemistry
* Experience with HPLC, ELISA, UV, CE-SDS
* Strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills
Desirable: Mass spectrometry or cell-based assay experience
