Were recruiting on behalf of a well:established Food and Drink Manufacturer in Gloucestershire seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor/ Technical to join their Technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining product quality, food safety, and compliance standards within a fast:paced production environment.
Working closely with Production, Technical, and Operations teams, youll help ensure products consistently meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
The Role
As a Quality Assurance Auditor, you will be responsible for monitoring quality standards throughout the manufacturing process and supporting the sites food safety and compliance objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting routine quality checks throughout production and packing operations. Completing GMP, hygiene, housekeeping, and fabrication audits. Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Carrying out product sampling, testing, and quality assessments. Completing temperature, process, and compliance checks. Investigating non:conformances and escalating issues where necessary. Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Maintaining accurate quality records and documentation. Supporting internal, customer, and third:party audits. Assisting with food safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working collaboratively with Production and Technical teams to drive quality performance across the site.
What Were Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience within Food and Drink Manufacturing, Food Production, or FMCG.
Experience working in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Technical role.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality and food safety.
Good communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work effectively within a fast:paced manufacturing environment.
Strong problem:solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset. Good IT skills and experience completing quality documentation.
Desirable Experience
HACCP qualification.
Internal auditing experience.
Knowledge of BRCGS Food Safety Standards.
Food Safety qualification.
Experience conducting GMP and hygiene audits.
