Duties
* Greet customers warmly, listen to their needs, and provide expert advice on products and services
* Operate the POS system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts
* Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits to customers
* Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining an attractive store layout
* Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
* Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock replenishment
* Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
* Support cashiering duties, including processing returns, exchanges, and payments accurately
* Maintain a clean, organized sales floor to ensure a welcoming shopping environment
* Supervise or assist junior team members as needed to ensure smooth store operations
Experience
* Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
* Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous
* Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus
* Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
* Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members
* Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and retail math principles
* Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial but not mandatory
