Location: NR15, Long Stratton Details: I am a 13-year-old boy who needs support on 1 to 1 basis with activities. I love the outdoors, parks, open spaces, woodland areas because I really enjoy exploring my environment. I find open spaces and the outdoors very regulatory. I am on the Autistic Spectrum and have severe learning difficulties. I am non-verbal and communicate using some signs and symbols but will mainly lead people to what I need and want. This means I require a high level of support to help with developing my communication, interaction, attention and independence skills. I also need support with regulating my behaviour. I have extremely high energy levels and am more likely to become upset and agitated if I am not occupied. I need constant supervision to be safe as I regularly put things in my mouth. Person specification Essential: Friendly Active Desirable: Knowledge of or experience supporting someone with Autism Summary terms and conditions: · Rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour · Hours and times of work: 3 hours per week, exact timing and days agreed in advance · Annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
