We are currently seeing a rise in demand for qualified Teaching Assistants across primary schools in Exeter. Working in partnership with a range of local schools, we are recruiting experienced and dedicated professionals to support long-term roles. These schools aremitted to inclusive education and fostering a positive learning environment for all pupils.
Your new role
You will be placed in a primary school setting, supporting pupils across Early Years, KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience and the school’s needs. Responsibilities may include one-to-one support, small group interventions, and general classroom assistance. These long-term roles offer consistency and the chance to be a valued member of the schoolmunity.
What you'll need to succeed
1. A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above)
2. Previous experience working in a primary school setting
3. A caring and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning
4. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
5. An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
