Location: Liverpool (Hybrid working available)Salary: Up to £65kContract: Permanent, Full-Time

Our client, a prestigious Chartered Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) firm based in Liverpool, is seeking a dedicated professional to ensure the smooth running of their business and support their talented team.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational success of the firm, ensuring seamless processes, regulatory compliance, and exceptional people management. You will work closely with directors to support the company’s vision and growth while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide operational leadership, identifying areas for additional support to maintain exceptional business quality.
* Ensure all business activities are conducted responsibly and comply with legislative requirements.
* Manage weekly Management Information (MI) reporting and deliver actionable outputs to directors.
* Oversee staff reviews, training, and development to maximise individual potential through positive people management.
* Lead business projects to enhance processes and implement new policies.
* Manage the HR system in line with current regulations to support business and employee needs.
* Support recruitment processes, including candidate engagement and onboarding.
Experience and Skills Required
* Essential: Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an IFA environment.
* Proven track record in positive people management.
* Strong understanding of financial products and relevant legislation.
* Sound operational knowledge of an IFA working environment.
* Computer literacy with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Self-motivated with logical thinking, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to deliver results.
* Dedication to continuous professional development to meet regulatory and personal development needs.
* Desirable: Knowledge of Intelligent Office software (training provided if needed).
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
