Our client, a well-established engineering company, is recruiting a skilled CNC Miller to join their team. T Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller * Machine parts ranging from 1m to 5m in length * Follow offline programming documentation including job set-up, tooling sheets, and machining methods * Change tools/inserts and adjust offsets to maintain engineering tolerances * Download CNC programs and save proven files * Operate manual machining centres when required * Measure and inspect components to ensure accuracy to engineering drawings * Identify and report equipment maintenance and repair needs * Perform routine equipment maintenance * Produce work to the required quality standards while minimising waste * Follow written instructions, safe working practices, and maintain a tidy workspace * Contribute to continual improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and productivity Candidate Requirements * Minimum 5 years’ experience on multi-axis CNC milling machines * Experience with gantry-style machines with Fanuc control and travelling column machines (e.g., Elga-mill) with Heidenhain control * Examples include: * Ka...
